HIV Counseling and Testing (HCT)

This project is a collaboration of CHDC and Ministry of Health funded by the World Health Organization (WHO).  The project by building on background material on HCT policy and practice in Uganda, started in 2008 and is exploring experiences of people who have been tested for HIV in different settings, what it meant for them to go through this; the services they received and how those around them responded.   It is a multi-country study involving Malawi, Burkina Faso and Kenya.  The study also explores the point of view of those who provided services related to HIV Testing and Counseling including the 3 CCCs  (Counseling, consent and confidentiality)
