These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the services, platforms, and resources provided by the Uganda Veterinary Board. By accessing our website, engaging with our services, or registering with the Board, you agree to comply with the following:

• “Board” refers to the Uganda Veterinary Board.
• “User” refers to any veterinary professional, organization, or member of the public accessing UVB services.
• “Services” include registration, licensing, training, certification, inspections, and regulatory oversight provided by the Board.

• Only qualified veterinary professionals and institutions recognized by the Board may apply for registration or licensing.
• Users must provide accurate and verifiable information when engaging with UVB services.

• All registered veterinary professionals are required to uphold ethical standards in line with the Veterinary Surgeons Act and UVB Code of Conduct.
• Misrepresentation, negligence, or malpractice may result in suspension or cancellation of registration or licenses.

• Users must not misuse UVB’s online platforms, including attempts to access restricted data or distribute harmful content.
• Content published on the UVB website is for information purposes only and should not substitute professional veterinary advice.

• Personal and institutional data collected by UVB will be stored securely and used only for regulatory and administrative purposes.
• The Board shall comply with Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act in handling user information.

• Any disputes arising between users and the Board shall first be addressed through internal mediation.
• Where necessary, disputes may be escalated in accordance with Ugandan laws.

The Board reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the official UVB website.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda.
