Opira Paul is an IT Specialist and Data Manager with over seven years of practical experience in the Information Technology field. My core competencies include IT systems and infrastructure management, data governance, system optimization, cybersecurity, and end-user support and training. 

At CHDC, I lead strategic IT operations encompassing the evaluation and recommendation of technology acquisitions, oversight of IT asset management, and the development of digital tools to support multiple research programs. I also ensure continuous system and network monitoring and implement zero-trust access protocols to reinforce cybersecurity across the organization. I have consistently delivered dependable I.T solutions that strengthened operational efficiency, minimized system downtime, enhanced data security, and ensured transparency and accountability for programme execution.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), and I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Information Technology at Makerere University to deepen my technical and analytical capabilities.
